Yes, ICDMFR 2021 will be held in the form of hybrid meeting on April 28 (Wed) – May 1 (Sat), 2021

What is the hybrid meeting?

Hybrid meeting is the format be combined with functionalities of face to face and virtual.

What technology do I need to attend the virtual program?

You will need a computer and networking / WIFI to experience ICDMFR 2021 without extra software. We support almost all browsers except Internet Explorer. For a flawless experience, we highly recommend using Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Microsoft Edge browser. The best experience often comes from Google Chrome.

If I want to change participation type (onsite↔virtual), how should I do?

Onsite and virtual attendance conversions are possible after cancellation of existing registration. You can change participation type until March 31, 2021 (18:00 KST) without cancellation fee.

Click the ‘Cancel’ button.
Complete your new registration with full payment
1) Onsite → Virtual : You can cancel the existing registration and re-register.
2) Virtual → Onsite : Registration fee will be applied based on the day you make the virtual registration.
*If you changed your participation type of on-site or virtual, please check the registration fee change and contact the secretariat for any inquiries. (reg@icdmfr.org)
We will refund the previous registration fee after the congress without any cancellation charge

Will the virtual conference take place at the same time as the conference dates?

Yes, the release date of the platform for all the sessions will be April 28, 2021.In addition, the platform and all sessions will be openuntil May 9 after meeting ends. The e-Booth(virtual exhibition hall) will be opened on April 9, 2021, earlier than the congress date.

What time zone will be used for the virtual conference?

Sessions will take place in Korean Standard Time. (KST)

When will I receive the instructions for attending the virtual conferences?

Since the E-booth(virtual exhibition hall) is scheduled to open on April 9, you will receive the guideline in early April via the email you used to register for the conference containing all of the instructions on how to access the virtual conference. Is it possible for presenter to register as virtual?

Yes, presenter also can register as Virtual. Onsite registration is not required.

I am an exhibitor at the event, what should I do?

The exhibition of ICDMFR 2021 is carried out onsite and virtual exhibition. Detailed information will be sent individually via email. If you need to get in touch with us, please email us at exh@icdmfr.org

Do I have access to all of the sessions?

Yes! Similar to if you were attending the conference in-person, you will be given the opportunity to select which sessions you’d like to attend virtually. It is up to you to decide which sessions you’d like to attend during the live conference.

Can I share my virtual conference login information with other member of my team?

The login link created is unique to each person who is registered for the conferences. For every paid registration to attend virtually, only one device (computer, laptop, tablet, phone) will be allowed to enter the virtual conference. If you want to participate with your team, they must each register.

How should the presentation be submitted when the abstract is accepted?

All presenters should submit their presentation file. The presentation file will be posted on the ICDMFR 2021 virtual website during the meeting. Please check the ‘Presentation Guideline’.

Will sessions be pre-recorded or live?

Most of sessions will be broadcasted pre-recorded presentations, and there will a remote live Q&A after the presentations. However, the session that speakers participate onsite will be live.

How does Oral & e-Poster Presentation work?

It is conducted by submitting a presentation file in advance, not a real-time presentation. (It does not proceed in real-time presentation onsite or online.) The submitted file can be viewed at the ‘ICDMFR 2021 Virtual Website'.

Can I ask questions during the sessions on the virtual website?

We encourage you to ask questions during the sessions. Questions are submitted to the chairperson and will be reviewed and placed into the queue for the Q&A sessions at the end of each presentation.

Will I be able to move from session to session during the conference?

Yes, you will be able to move from session to session similar to as you would during an in-person conference.

What if I miss the sessions?

All sessions are recorded so you can come back and view what you’ve missed. Recordings will be available for viewing until May 9 after the live, streamed presentation.However, please note that there might be time gap for a day to upload the recorded video.

Will there be an Exhibit Hall?

Yes, there will be a virtual exhibit hall(e-Booth). Click on the ‘ICDMFR 2021 Virtual Website' button in the event navigation to view the showcase of exhibitors.The e-Booth will be opened on April 9, earlier than the event. Don’t forget to check out our exhibition booths!
